Role in Women with Works

I am the Founder and director of Women with Works. As I faced my own shortcomings in wanting to pursue business and thrive in my career and having doors shut in my face (even from people), I realized I had to create a platform for supporting and empowering women. Women with works allowed me to interact with a lot of powerful women and most of them affirmed that they needed a platform such as this to co-create and reach their aspirations. I strongly believe that together we can.

“As women, we need to help each other; as you empower a woman, you empower a community.”

Who are you?

A woman, Daughter, Mother, Sister and importantly a child of the Most High. An individual who strives to better herself and serve others. I am a Snr Project Manager, coordinating and ensuring that things go as planned is my gift (not always the case). I love being part of organisations that believe in making a difference to individuals and communities around them

What are your works?

As a Snr Project Manager, I have been blessed to work in different industries and have crossed paths with individuals from different backgrounds. One of my most memorable works was an Expandable Public Works Programme, working with beneficiaries that not only were looking for work but encouragement and someone to believe in them. It was just a blessing to be part of a process where lives were changed and hope restored in a community. My works are sharing, not only possessions but time, skills and knowledge. As women, we need to help each other; as you empower a women, you empower a community.

Motivation

Take your plan and submit it before the Lord and be sure you’re ready for the work. As faith without works is dead, wanting something and working towards it are two different things. Be sure you are in the right frame of mind to make the necessary sacrifices to reach your goals

Aspiration

Owning a Project Management consultancy. I would love to get into managing Construction Projects.

Role in Women with Works

I am one of the Directors, have been part of this beautiful organisation from the beginning. This is one of the organisations that have made me see that the only limitation is how far your imagination can take you. If you believe, willing to work for it, you will surely accomplish it
